Nope, Long time one with that. Its a long story. Anyway, They didnt have the bulb so they gave me store credit. Used it to go ahead and pick up a damsel for $5.

Re: Starting a 6 gallon.
Yea, They had Blues, Azures, etc. all in the same tanks. I saved mine from a 5 inch long wrasse. (forget what kind.) Had to hand pick the little guy because the woman didnt know the diffirence. Think I could squeeze another fish in the tank? After the rock bacteria catches up to the damsels bio load of course. I know I would have to rescape it because of the damsel being agressive etc.
Seen something very sad too. I had to point out to the girl (My regular person I talk to thingy only works Mon-Wed) That theyre porcupine puff had IPs incredibly bad.

Sad.
Well what do you mean saved? You could go with a clown goby or something. Look at live aquarias nano reef fish for an idea.

By saved I mean a wrasse kept trying to catch him for a snack. They we're getting towards the tank he was in for feeding though, So I assume the wrasse was just hungry. And if I add the goby do you think I can still get away with not having a protein skimmer?

Re: Starting a 6 gallon.
Possibly. It depends on how often you are going to be feeding them and all. I would try and calculate it then maybe get a nano skimmer for the aquaclear.

Re: Starting a 6 gallon.
I figure like 1/4 of a cube a night. 1/2 a cube if I add the goby.

Well just for added water param. safety i might try and find a nano skimmer but i believe that jake is running his without one. You might pm him about his fish or see if he posts here.

Re: Starting a 6 gallon.
Yea il wait and see if he posts tonight. Im in no rush. But like I said in the 55 topic, Moneys very tight right now with the moving and everything so a skimmer of any sorts, Unless I can find one for like 10 or 20 dollars anyway, Is out of the question.

Yeah. It really shouldn't be a problem so your okay. Anyways unless you have another fish you don't really need it.

Umm. In all honesty, I plan on taking them out the same way they came in. Very carefully with a lot of cussing and agrevation.

Re: Starting a 6 gallon.
Oops hello guys.
I wouldn't do a skimmer on such a small tank. Sorry kinda forgot what fish you have but you can probably cut back on feedings. I feed my clown every two days or so.

Re: Starting a 6 gallon.
I have a yellow tail damsel in it right now. I want to add a clown during the move (So the aquasape is diffirent for the damsel) Im feeding 1/4 cube of mysis/night. I think I could drop that to half a cube every other day and add a clown goby (1/4 cube each.)

Re: Starting a 6 gallon.
I wouldn't add another fish. Personally I think the tank is pretty small for the clown. Either the clown or the damsel, not both. I would say 1/2 cube every other day. And at the most I would have two fish, I would pick the clown and the clown goby. I wouldn't put much more. Also, try to have plenty of swimming room for the clown.

Re: Starting a 6 gallon.
Well, We were talking about the clown goby not a clown. If I get a clown im getting a pair and its going in the next reef tank I do (20 long or bigger). Also, Thinking about it il probably move the damsel over to it after the clowns and all are settled in and turn this tank temperate.

Re: Starting a 6 gallon.
Ohh sorry. I saw clown and clown goby lol. Well it looks like you know what you are doing.
But a skimmer on the tank that small (unless it is temperate) would probably do more harm than good.
