Re: 40 Gallon Reef
Ha its just the initial cost. Once you get it all up and running prices drop significantly. All you end up paying then is for salt and the occasional addition to the tank :p.

Keep it pg-13. Racial remarks, even though may not sound offensive can be. Just prevents problems by not making them. This is a family friendly forum, lets keep it that way.
Yeah im looking forward to getting a papuan toby, 2 cardinalfish and maybe a leopard wrasse. Just got to get some more pods established.

Going to get a piece of live rock today! . The wrasse should be happy. He is my favorite fish in the tank. I love to watch him hunt for pods.

Re: 40 Gallon Reef
Sorry for the quality of the pics. I'll get some better ones tomorrow.
The new fire goby. Doing very well
Some damsels
The amazing 6 line wrasse.
FTS
These pictures really dont show the true color of anything in the aquarium. I was very disappointed in how they turned out. I will get some new ones up tomorrow when the light is better.

Re: 40 Gallon Reef
I agree with you there man. Remember how i said i still need 20 more pounds of live rock . That is a taro tree coral. Very easy to keep species. Corals going to be coming once i get all the live rock. All softies.

Re: 40 Gallon Reef
Okay so its time for an update. I completely rearranged the tank. Now all the rocks are on the left side of the tank. I think the fish like it better. They are swimming around the rocks and the fire goby and blue damsel are enjoying the open space. It may look weird to some but it just acts as a reminder that i need twice as much LR to fill the empty space. I will get some pictures up later tonight.
