Nope. Did a quick fix with some silicone. It will work fine for awhile, or at least until I get a car and some spare money to get a new one.

He almost opened up today, Then a snail crawled by and he got mad...Looks like hes going to be a dark red though. Thinking about donating him to someone/LFS or killing him.

Brown. Chaeto's in, Just not in a fuge. I broke my silicone on the intake tube Sad

Okay so. Tried to get the fuge running today and because of where the intake tubes cut at I cant keep silicone on it. Im going to lowes tomorrow to see if I can rig something up. I got one of the 2 50/50 bulbs. Il get pics up sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Starting new sleeping pils and anxiety/anti depressant pills tonight and tomorrow morning. YAY for ED causing anti depressants...Anyway I dont really want to do a hole lot more than I already have today. Just going to go relax before the pills begin. Night everyone.

The "King of DIY" now has a new fuge and a new hood rated for 40W per bulb....Also the King of DIY shall take some aluminum once he gets a call back on one of the 20 odd applications he put out and make himself bigger reflectors for the hood. He has also begun the silicone process on the new but smaller fuge. So, $5 later and he has a new fuge and a REALLY nice hood. Got a lot of dark red coraline coming back too.

Umm. As for making it? Just took an old housing I found at habitat for humanity and stuck a light socket that fit in...Added an extra vent on both sides to help with air. Once I take out the metal and add mylar to diffuse the heat better I could probably add in a PC fan and get it to house 200W+ without over heating. I plan on getting the second light tomorrow since I got that $25 to spend now. Probably going to try and find a roll of mylar or something to use for better reflectiveness than that alluminum (God I cant spell)

EDIT: Got my mylar about 2 minutes after that post. Those fancy balloons are made of mylar for those that dont know (inside is the reflective side) Im tired as crap though so im just going to take my sleepin pill and pass out. Il do it when I wake up and post some pics of it. Tomorrow the new fuge will go in too if I can come up with a light.

To be completely honest I think the sockets and the hood were originally together because they fit perfect. Il be starting on the mylar in a little bit. I got to wake up lol
