Well... Now I'm torn.
I could either start a Macro-reef or buy the Valentini at my LFS... Advice?

Valentinis are on my dream puffer list though... And my LFS doesn't order fish... And I'm not allowed to order fish. It's a one in a million opportunity. It could be years before they get another Valentini in stock.
Why must I be confined to just one tank?!

Oh wow. My favorite puffer and a macro reef . Well this is a temperate marine forum so i am obligated to tell you to do the reef....however just do the reef.
If that doesn't work than you know to get a puffer next time. Honestly go with whatever you want the most and will make you like your tank. But i would do the reef.

Well then. I guess I'll ask my mom for advice...
She said:
I dunno, Brent.
______________
Nobody seems to have an opinion that persaudes me either way. I'm partial to each in a different way. I think i'll just have a look at the tidepools and observe what's there. If I like it, i'll go with that: If not, i'll get the puffer.
______________
You'll only hate me for a while if I get the puffer? Hooray! Alright, I'll get the puffer. I'll still get you pictures of the tidepool.
I feel bad doing this, but.... It's a Valentini!

If you haven't seen one, you don't know what Canthigasters are all about! Them, the Jactator and the Papuan define the family!
