Temperate Fish on Divers Den
I've been keeping an eye on Divers Den as of lately and noticed an influx of Japanese Temperate fish. I was curious about what regions they are found in and if you throw the scientific names into fishbase.org you can get some more info as well as some distribution maps.
I will update this with the most recently found fish at the top of this page.

The Malachite Secretive Wrasse looks interesting. To bad it gets to be so large.

Re: Temperate Fish on Divers Den
I have a school of 5 juvenile Blue Rock Fish (sebastes mystinus), their length ranges up to 55 to 60 cm, and weights up to 3.8 kg.
I'm gonna eat em when they get too big But that wont be for quite some time. I'm also not paying $300 per fish for them either, so it keeps me a little more detatched.

I guess that's a way of dealing with a fish when it outgrows the tank...
