New Tank
Here's some pics of the tank and stand I just got for free There are a few extra holes in it, but I'm going to utilize all the holes at towards the bottom of the tank for a closed loop and hook the auto feeder into it. Some of the holes I will have to patch though still.
Tank is made of 3/4" and measures 66"x20"x36"

I think this is going to house all of my heavily fed NPS inverts so that I can have an effective closed loop system that will run an auto feeder on it.

Hopefully you have really long arms and gloves to reach into freezing temperatures if needed .

Re: New Tank
I wouldn't mind seeing an eel in there *hint*. It would be quite a mission getting it out if there if you ever needed to though. So it's better to probably not.

Re: New Tank
I'll be happy with the 36" deep tank, since I almost bought that 48" deep tank Imagine trying to get an eel out of there right?

Worst case scenario I flood my garage and I have use up a lot of salt.
I'm patching a bunch of the holes and only using the nicely drilled ones along the bottom on the back panel, and the two at the very bottom of the tank.
Everything else will get patched from the inside and then the sides will have a 1/2" black acrylic panel attached to reinforce them and help with sweating.

Re: New Tank
Didn't end up with any eels in the tank, but I have two 8"+ Rock Pricklebacks in there. I have to use an extendable turkey baster thing with a plastic feeding stick on the end to feed them chunks of shrimp.

More so than any of the other fish. They are the only ones who I see actively hunting the burrowing bay shrimp I have in there.
Heres a pic of the smaller one from tonight
Also my massive green anemone

Interesting. Have they formed little territories in the tank?
