Well...Looks like I am going to have to start raising the salinity again a little sooner than I was wanting too. I think the puffball has Ich. If its not its still some kind of parasite so I plan on doing a WC as soon as I get some time this week

Yea I have but I cant find any pics of anything close to what I got and I doubt I could get a pic with my crappy camera.

Okay so I was outta town for a few days and I yesterday I meant to raise the salinity before I went to sleep but I got family over and forgot too...Woke up to a dead puff today...SUCKS!!! I LOVED the color morph...

Its okay. I thought he was going to have a fairly short stay in my tank when I noticed the color morph, So I was prepared. I just didnt think my first loss of all my tank experience would be the ONE fish I really wanted.

Are you planning on getting another?

Im waiting to see if something ends up in the tank. If I cant get rid of anything the puff had im just going to break it down bleach it and start me a new reef

Oxyclean is safer for aquariums IMO.

Or you could get a lep... depending on if you want it to kill anything else you put in the tank after it's settled! People usually keep their leps with giant Pirhannas to keep them from killing the fish!

Fine actually still havent raised the salinity or got a new puff but I have been working on switching the hornwort out for cobomba. Thats almost totally done. Just got out of rehab, Have a hand pretty much missing a finger and got a house a garden 4 tanks and 35 acres to catch up on so I might not be back on for awhile...Or really having time for the tank...The 20 is doing good im still having nutrient problems but that rock is finally starting to seed with corraline and everything. Still need to get rid of the useless peppermint...

Well. This hobby is all about making choices.

Just added a light to my 10 breeder. I got an army of evil algae pwning snails at my disposal. Going to move some of the hornwort over to it so I dont have to throw it away. Maybe I can get some damn shrimp to make some babies for once. I swear I gotta be the only person that cant breed shrimp.

Wow. I have had a similar experience. I think it has to do with water or something. Check a shrimp breeding site i guess.

Im going to give it some time and see if the light and a hornwort does the trick. If not im lost iv read every guide I could find lol
