About 10. Got them in an INSANELY planted display tank for the plants/fish got an incredible footprint. Theyre in with about 5 angels and a couple sharks looks like. But their website is www.fintastic.us fairly big store, Although its almost nothing but display tanks. Fish are amazingly beautifull and almost every puffer came to the tank and followed my finger around lol.

That's good that they are all healthy! Can't wait till you got all of your fish and plants.
I really like this tank here. http://www.fintastic.us/images/gallery/4.jpg . It's one of the custom built tanks so it's not actually in the store. But that looks like a pretty good site.

Re: random boredness
Yea. Thats my personal favorite. Really was shocked when I noticed absolutely no evidence of parasites, IPs, Or bad health period. I know they have UV sterilizers running. I would put money on it. So im wondering if I should hold of on worrying about treating for IPs or anything until I notice something. And yea i cant wait either just picked up a 29 (actually 25) tall today got to scrub it like crazy. Outsides sticky insides got all kinds of little white dots on it. So im going to go work on that but il check in every now and then.
Ok, Not working on the tank anymore. Forgot I had steel toed boots on and tripped outside. Tried to save it but it was bust my head open or break the tank on the concrete. Got to go clean up though im gettin blood everywhere.

Re: random boredness
Shame. What was the 25 for? Quarantine tank?
If the puffers are fine when you go to get them i wouldn't worry about treating them because they probably don't have them. Most people on TPF however will say to do it just in case. I would have meds handy.

Well that should work better just because there is more surface area in the 20 long.

Feeding the ghost shrimp to the puffs = No need for snails, Right?

Re: random boredness
No snails are still needed. The ghost shrimps carapace isn't nearly as hard as the shell of a snail .

Re: random boredness
Didnt think it would suffice. Just wanted to make sure. Can i put the snails in with the ghost shrimp? If so il take a couple pounds of aragonite out of the big tank and add it in for a PH buffer. Erm. Well, Then again white rocks plus white sand plus ghost shrimp = Hard hunt. But i did manage to score a pest snail with the ghost shrimp. Also got told by the manager of the petsmart up the road i could have every pest snail i want. By the way: Really dont like this lay out for the website. Makes it hard to tell when there is new posts and see the buttons.

Re: random boredness
I have heard that the ghost shrimp sometimes go for snails. But you could test it out.
So it's just the buttons that you don't like? If you make specific posts in the announcements section under the new launch portal i can probably fix them.

Re: random boredness
Will do. And yea il test it. Probably set up the 3 gallon with no filtration or anything. Put half the snails in the 10 half in the 3 and if they do ok in the 10 just move the 3 gallon ones to the 10 and add sand lol

Re: random boredness
Just got back with about 50 snails. Im just going to add them all to the 10 gallon, with some aragonite. Hell 20 minutes and i get 50 free snails, why save them? lol
OK so. We dont need to worry about the snails dieing. They killed all my shrimp -.- Took the 6 shrimp that was still alive out (2 died by filter other 2 added something for algae that isnt for inverts and it killed them) Added 2 pounds of aragonite put them and the snails back in...There is like one shrimp alive right now. So worry about what the snails do to your shrimp. Kind of weird really lol.
PS: like the new set up. Just need to get the buttons for pages and send etc changed still cant really see them.
