Re: My 20 Long
Yeah up until about 3 hours ago I was still torn between aquatic and teresstrial (I know i killed that word...) I thought about going for a major in aquatic and a minor in the aforebutchered word.

Terrestrial is the word you're looking for .
Hard to choose though. But aquatics seems more interesting.

No, It just dawned on me I had it...I set it up before I went to sleep earlier and it matches the sun perfectly (minus the blue)

Re: My 20 Long
Okay so I decided since the tanks cant get any worse and I actually have good lighting (MAJOR morale booster for me) Im going to try mission impossible and save the tank. Im doing what I can right now without spending any money but sooner or later im going to have to get more CUC stuff since the tanks pretty much border line wiped. Im thinking a emerald crab and 2 red or blue tipped hermits and maybe a few extra Nassarius snails. Thoughts?

Ah, I see.
Well, you definately need some more maids in there.
What about pom pom crabs to add a bit of interest as well? They'll eat pretty much anything AFAIK.

Re: My 20 Long
Sounds like a good idea blunto. I wouldn't get any hermit crabs however, since they will go for your snails.

Re: My 20 Long
Yea lol once you see this...You're going to think im insane for not only keeping the tank up but believing I can fix it. The SG is through the roof so thats distilled water I got dripping in on a VERY VERY VERY slow drip.

Re: My 20 Long
Well I was thinking il take the old turbo snail shells I got laying around and put in there since red and blue tipped hermits dont get but about the same size as those shells so thatll hopefully solve that problem.

Re: My 20 Long
This is the perfect example of how little credit we give our aquatic friends with regard to hardiness.
Don't know how anything survived that, tbh.

Re: My 20 Long
Honestly...Im not even sure. In one way I say yes in another I would rather not spread anything around. I already have to take the skimmer apart and un clog it so it will start working again. Tomorrow I plan on trying to clean up at least one or two of the rocks and getting the skimmer running again. Probably redo the flow because its pushed all the sand to one end of the tank. Debating on if I want to disturb the sand bed now to even it out or wait until i get it more under control.
