Live rock on a temperate tank?

I'm planning the rockwork for my new temperate nano. At the moment I have live rock in my 10 gallon tank, and I was actually thinking of starting this new slightly larger tank with the same rocks.
What do you guys think? I have all sorts of rocks available, but the microfauna in the live rock is so great that I was thinking of using it :/
Besides I have a lot of anemones attached to the rocks and removing them would be too big a task...

So basically my question is: Is a temperate tank genuine temperate tank if I use the live rock?
Should I go for the "real deal" and collect the rocks from the shores? I'm also going to use really fine coral sand...

Coral sand I find is to fine for the flow required in temperate.

Is this Temperate live rock or tropical rock used in a temperate tank ?

It's rock I have removed from my tropical tank. I actually decided to build a bigger Mediterranean tank and I will put all the live rock there. In my Atlantic tank I will use granite.
