I should have taken some pics of my live food.
I grew mosquito larva and blood worms in a bucket on the patio. A large aquarium net was bent where the mouth met the handle. The net could sit parallel to the bottom of the bucket and handle would stuck up for easy handling. I imagine, if one were so inclined, they could rear enough larva to freeze for the whole year.

Wow Micheal. Great job with the larva. I was to lazy to rear my own so I went to the pond and collected a cup full with a net.
