Another new person saying hi

Hi -
Bumped into your site in the search for information about temperate reefs. Thought i would say hello. I've been keeping saltwater tanks for about 8 years, and I am about to upgrade the size of my main tank. In the process I have been strongly considering turning my current 100 gal tank into a temperate aquarium.

I did notice that in your list of fishes, you don't include the blue spotted jawfish. I know it is often sold as tropical, but apparently is truly a temperate animal. (info from Bob Fenner over at Wet Web Media).

If I dive in, I will let you know...

defiantly, ya fish are not easy to come by unless they are sold as tropical. 99% of stuff you have to get on your own, or get it shipped from another temperate reefer. Chiller> anything. also cycling takes way to long.... its been a few weeks now and my ammonia has not even doped, and i am feeding a tiny bit daily (once)
