Summer Plans?

I'm going to Minneapolis, San Diego, L.A., and Orange County. Everyone else?

I am in Orange Beach. I am having fun, but hoping the thick oil doesnt come in yet even though the smaller stuff is here.

Going to P.E.I and possibly Toronto if my aunt ever gets around to planning a date. Of course checking out the marine environments around NL and P.E.I! Just gotta be careful of the currents in P.E.I; I nearly drowned in an eddy current there once.

P.E.I. = Prince Edward Island? Haha took me a while to figure it out.

I just love the beaches in the O.C. though .

Oh, yeah. Haha. Sorry about that- I didn't think about you guys not being Canadian.

Haha yes! I am back from Minneapolis for now which means I have time to be on the forum!

I wish, not dive trained

Just tide pool collecting, dock netting, jetti picking, and hitting the seafood markets.

I'll probably see if I can tag along with Steve Weist when he goes diving this summer.

Sounds promising.

I wish I could do that.

I can snorkel if that counts for anything haha.

I may try and snorkel a bit on the warmer days in some of the estuary areas and bays.

I free dove the jetties. Was fun, but To get those anemones off the rock I had to go down, scrape, come back up, go down, scrape, come beack up, etc. etc. it got tiring after a while especially when the waves are rocking you all over the place.

Yeah, for that reason I am going to check the docks first

I wouldn't think of doing that out here on the SoCoast .
