Well, we don't get any severe storms. The hurricanes are almost always weakened to tropical storms by the time they reach us, and we never get tornadoes... Just dust-devils.

. However we get fires....that burn thousands of acres of force thousands to evacuate...

We get fires too, but seeing as drought is really never a problem the fires never turn huge. They can be dangerous if they start near a populated area though -- We get a few close calls once or twice a year.
