No. They all died out sadly enough. But i think for right now it was better until i get the snails set up. Just incase the shrimp get mean the snails keep their tank lol.

I guess that works. You can always put the shrimp in the display until you get your puffers. What kind of stand is your tank on?

Re: random boredness
My 55 is on a old dresser i ripped the legs off. 10 Is on the bathroom counter. This mornings egg sack count: 20+. So I have 2 questions for you: #1: Do I have to use R/O water for mixing salt? I mean i can make a DIY rig for it easy, I just dont want to if I can avoid it. #2: Happen to know of a hydrometer just for low end BW? I can only find one that even reads low end BW everything else is 1.012+

Re: random boredness
Instead of getting a hydrometer i would get a refractometer. Much better for temperate reefs and BW.
No you don't have to use RO water for mixing salt. RO water is generally only used in SW aquarium as the live stock is more sensitive to contaminants in tap water.

Re: random boredness
Sure just make sure you are left with enough snails in the breeder. I wouldn't do guppies. Do a molly if you want anything as they can be adapted to BW.

I planned on moving my male guppy in here until i start to go BW to prevent him making anymore baby guppies

Blurry. But it doesn't look like a ramshorn. More like a common pond snail.
