No problem!

It was specifically helpful to me with it's section on placement of macro.

You're starting one too?!

I'm going to be using my 10g as one as soon as I'm done QTing the M. Leiurus I ordered from my LFS. Let's just hope I don't end up with a Turgidus or something...

The reason I'm not doing my temperate biotope until Spring 2011 (/sigh) is because it's so late in the year already and I don't even have the tank yet. I've seen it though-- long, wide and shallow! Perfect.

Thank you very much! I like macroalgae a lot. I think my first post here was about my desire to grow macros in the main tank.

There is even a picture of my local aquarium in the article!

@Brent - No, I've changed the design. This is going to be sort of harder and sort of easier Razz.

@Michael - Cool that your local aquarium is featured!

Ha. I need to make a few measurements here and there and then draw up a plan on sketch up. The only flaw is that it always has to be in a corner, except maybe not! We'll see Very Happy.

It is famous for it's huge exhibit on the local sea life.

It's expensive and I've been there so many times, or else I would have already shot a little film for you guys.

That's really cool. Aren't you glad you live on the coast so you can do those kinds of things.

One of the Reef Central admins said that ReefKeeping was down, but that it should be back up "later today," as of 8:58AM this morning. So it must be taking longer than expected.

Interesting artical..

We have had problems with large Algae blooms in the Gippsland lakes (Australia) during low flows and warmer water conditions after 10 years of drought ( broken last year). Their is a huge connection between the market farming practices ,chemical fertiliser over use in the run off areas and Algae blooms in the lakes ,I think any Algae can become a problem given the right conditions in an Aquarium or nature ..

I preferr Algae to corals ..

ReefKeeping is back up so feel free to check it out. Smile

I agree, Snapper. Though I think I like the corals more, at least in tropical aquaria.
