My Australian Gobies
Bridled Goby Arenigobius bifrenatus.2 ,Half bridled Goby Acentrogobius frenatus 2, largemouth goby Redigobius macrostoma 3, Girdled Goby ..And Yellow fin Goby 2 (introduced species).
The largemouth Goby is thin bodied and swims/floats with interesting dance like movements and only extends its dorsal fins when swimming like a Feluccas egyptian sailboat.

That's cool. Do you have pictures of the Girdled Goby?

Best pic I could find of the girdled from Temerate Australian fish ,I have 2 males and if they sat still long enough I might get a real picture without blurry bits..

Cool looking fish. Do yours have more color? And what's the author of the book?

Re: My Australian Gobies
Fishes of Australia's southern Coast . isbn 9781877069185
By Martin Gamon, Dianne Bray, Rudie Kuiter .
Rudie Kuiter has a few Temperate Australian books and has a great Temperate Sea Horse and pipe fish book. He's a well known marine biologist ,marine photographer, and taxonomist..
Mine are a little more pearl white with more defined marks the eye color is a brighter yellow under DT lights ..I love how Gobies make the bottom of the tank more alive .

Re: My Australian Gobies
Thanks! I would definitely agree with you. I prefer fish in most every column of the tank, but not to the point where it looks crowded.
