I have thought about it, I picked up a red sea wave maker the other day but I still need powerheads for it. I havn't really decided if I want to have that many exposed pump inlets in a tank full of anemones pale

It wouldn't hurt. I'm not sure as to whether you would have to do it yourself or not.

Are you wanting to simulate the tides as in having the water level raise and fall within the tank?

I would go with drilled overlows and a surge tank. Use a float switch like you would use on an auto top off.

Check out Ecosmart Vortechs. I have them running in all my tanks. They provide different modes for different flow requirements and are fully controlable.

Thanks for that! I've also been looking for something like the sort.
