Just like the title says... What do you run your reefs at?

I'm not sure I understand your question. What do you mean by conductivity?

I tend to think of conductivity as pertaining to electricity. Perhaps something pertaining to temperature?

Is he maybe thinking of the wattage that your reefs take up?

My guess is that he speaks of using conductivity as an indirect way of gauging the salinity. I'm sure you are all aware of Specific Gravity (Water = zero) as an indirect method of measurement. The conductivity (ability conduct the flow of electricity) of distilled water is also zero(0). Many dissolved materials will raise the conductivity of the water in proportion to the concentration of dissolved solids/material/salts.

I don't know if dissolved gases have the same effect. I'd guess yes, but it would be too minuscule to warrant any practical consideration. Also, I don't know if temperature have the same equal effect on both conductivity and SG.

exactly!... The temperature of the water should have the same effect o both. If you use a refractometer it will have a SG scale and smaller scale used for conductivity in the range of 0-100. 1.018 is equal to 25. Anyways what do you guys run your displays at?

28 ppt: same as the salinity where I collected the things for the tank. Higher temperatures increase solubility thus increasing ion concentration which is proportional to conductivity. However higher temperatures also tend to decrease conductivity, so what its the net difference in conductivity, positive or negative?

Glad we clarified this. Of course not having a tank set up at the moment I have no answer to your question.
