Temarine Aquaculture? Empty Temarine Aquaculture?

Who here has thought about aquaculturing inverts you catch? Or even fish. I've aquacultured, without even trying, tons of crabs. The babies however are often picked off. So if I really wanted to distribute them to hobbyists I would have to have a special tank set up. Or a large fuge.

I have been debating the idea of propagating the anemones I catch but other than that nothing else.

Bag them and take them to a local hobbyist's meeting. Food or friend? Who knows! Wink

I'd sell anything extra... I.e if any invert larvae survive, if anemones split to the point I don't want/need anymore, etc.

I don't think I'd have it in me to actually try and do it, but if it happens by itself sure. It'd be interesting to see what people could come up with though.

I think that's how most people think. I know I do. It would be to time consuming to take it up as a hobby, reefing enough is hard! Laughing.

Like you said before, it would just be easier to let your tank mature until you have an excess of livestock to give away.

Yeah. And that is what most people do, I think.
