oh... I should have entered my picture of those dock cranes you liked, PF.

So, I voted for Brent... here's why. Though I think the nem figures a little large in the shot compositionally, I think it is a more challenging photo to take than Rambo's. And while the scenery and the weather are obviously gorgeous, the photo of it is not all that special. Sorry friend, I just feel that on a day like that you could point a camera almost anywhere and get a pleasant shot. It's kind of like how it is hard to get a BAD photo of a sunrise/sunset. Understand?

I think from now on we will just have aquarium related shots, but I like both of them .

Rambo's is totally an aquarium related shot. At least for me the whole idea of Temperate aquariums is about collecting too. It's not just a beach shot, it's of his collecting site. I see no problem with including that. What if his shot what taken closer to the water and had some animals in it? A tide pool pic?

Besides, let's be serious here. It's not like you are being so flooded with entries that you need to narrow it down, right?

lol. the only reason i really entered was because noone else entered and we needed at least one pic. I still think we need a CSOTM. Collecting Spot Of The Month. It is a temperate reef forum, and as said before collecting is the only way we can really get our livestock.

CSOTM, coming next month .

The problem is though we never get enough photos to host enough contests (3) haha.

yay!!!!!!!! Ill post a pic for every photo contest. I jsut found my camera charger!!! I might not be able to amke all teh CSOTM's because I cant really go collecting anytime soon, but I can take pics of salt marsh. nto much to look at though.
