idk im lost honestly lol

but could the cloudiness maybe be ammonia? since i have a baseline ammonia of around 1.0?

and also would adding ammonia everyday to feed the bacteria once i get the bio-wheel seeded be too much?

Possibly. Have you tried running carbon in your tank? Like the carbon rocks. Carbon clears up water. I would just follow the instructions on the bottle. Once it clears up add your plants and then eventually your fish.

Post a new pic of your tank.

this is taken under diffirent light circumstances so it looks a little diffirent water isnt declhorified but the cloud was there when it was so i know it isnt the clhorine...and ofcourse the filter is unseeded also the filter has carbon in it but thats about as far as carbon goes

Hmm. You could try refilling it? Perhaps your ammonia levels are just making the water cloudy. It could be like this for a few days.

yea i tried refilling it quite a few times...im thinking about just taking the risk and de-chlorinating it and seeding it...think it would be worth it?

I would check on TPF as i had my BW long enough to test it.

Yeah, you can use a hydrometer. Well you may need to do a few water changes.

thats the thing, my tap water comes out at 1ppm, so even when i do water changes it just puts it right back where it was.

However, that says that i didnt mess up like i thought i did. i thought i put the bacteria in too soon after the conditioner, so at least that says some of it seeded.

You should condition your water before it goes in. Well have you tried getting stuff that clears the water from a fish store?

I thought so too...The only problem, Is the only way I can fit it in the tank, Is to have it an inch from the front glass, And touching the back. Kind of why I was wondering.
