Oil Spill in the Gulf

Check this out, if you scroll down far enough it shows a map of how the oil is and how it is spreading. It's terrible that it happened. Also how ironic is it that Obama just opened the area up for drilling? Anyways here's the link.

it is also kind of coincidental that it happened right after Earth Day. they were suspicious of terrorism. anyways for further info this crude oil is differeant from the Valdez spill because this kind mixes with the water to create a syrup type mix. there are three types of shores, sandy, rocky, and marshes. Beaches are the easiest to clean, and marshes are the hardest. And well,.....we hve marshes.

Some crew members made the rig explode? I highly doubt that. I think it was that they capped a valve incorrectly. I'm not sure though since there are so many rumors going around about what actually happened.

It just seems unlikely it just randomly exploded. My dad has been to it and it looks like a freekin city underwater. Either way it is bad.

Well BP fails at everything is all ic an say. When I was in Alabama I did more cleanup at the pass than the cleanup teams. lol anyway i am hopefully going to be getting a small job to help out with my friends research industry. he is developing a new technology that can bring underwater oil plumes to the surface. he is a lot older than methough. not nearly my age.
i am very glad I was able to save those creatures at the pass from the oil. Right after I got the nems and fish the oil hit.

thats exactly what they want you to think. Even when it is stopped the problems are not over. They still have an oil slick half the size of my state out there. It has hit every single Gulf Coast state so far. Even Lake Pontchartrain which is essentially my backyard.

Are you from New Orleans? Texas hasn't gotten it that bad though.

I used to live in a city right next to New Orleans. but I live on a differant side of that lake now. the north side. Which is sadly the area affected due to currents.
