Just got the sand today skimmer comes in two weeks so I hope to be cycling in two weeks but have just read condensation can be huge problem with these types of tanks how do you guys go with the condensation?

the tank i have has insulated double pane glass and i layered the bottom and plumbing with insulation. many people use thick (around 1") to construct the tank which helps insulate the tank.

Condensation depends in large on the temperature of the room it's kept in, the temperature of the tank, and the thickness of the glass. Since this is a tidal tank I can't imagine condensation would be that much of an issue. You should be fine though, from what you described.

Agree with above..never had an issue ,Mine is in a living room with good air flow, I had more issues with tropical tanks in cold still rooms ,mould codensation on walls and ceiling ,book shelf growing fungi etc.
